Hawkeye Mihawk
Hawkeye Mihawk (30-Stamina Edition)
(NOT 100% DROP)
Hawkeye Mihawk
Many Global Players have been concerned about Hawkeye Mihawk's Island and Arrival! As such this guide is posted in a page only for those interested and concerned about Mihawk.
NOTE: This will NOT be a Guide to the Mihawk Island and merely some suggestions to help you plan for you Mihawk Team.
What does he do?
Hawkeye Mihawk (30-Stamina Edition)
(NOT 100% DROP)
Health | 590,000 |
Attack | 5,000 (1 Turn) |
Abilities | Pre-emptively Deals 2,000 damage (Deals 2,000 damage before you attack) |
When 20% or less Health | Mihawk deals 10,000 damage every turn using his Special when HP drops below 20% Health. |
This is the Easier Version of Mihawk and also the easier of the 2 to prepare for. If you do NOT plan on using the Vivi route - you team will need over 7.000 Health (2,000 Pre-emptive + 5,000 damage), you can test this in the 0-Stamina Island.
Vivi Teams (with Lion Song Roronoa Zolo)
If you do plan on pulling a "Tank Zolo" or using a Friend "Tank Zolo", remember that he reduces all damage taken by 80%. This means that Mihawk will deal 1,000 damage per hit and 2,000 damage per special.
This means to heal 2,000 Health to efficiently maintain Zolo's Leader Skill - you will need a 5-Star Vivi that is level 72 or above. If you have a 5-Star Vivi that's level 72 or above, you should be fine regardless of the team you use.
Vivi Teams (with Laboon)
If you do plan of farming Laboon or using a friend Laboon, remember that Laboon requires your health to be above 50% to survive a hit. This means that generally you will be using weaker or low levelled units to maintain Laboon/Vivi synergy.
As a result, you will likely either have problems in the stages prior to Mihawk or have a 2-Hour long fight. Either case, you will succeed if you reach Mihawk.
Monkey D. Luffy (Gear 3) Teams
If you have high level STR units like Arlong/Alvida etc.
This will be the most efficient team to clear with. The 12.25x ATK boost will clear Mihawk with a breeze. You will need to hit Perfects though as you will not be able to take many hits from Mihawk

If you plan to run a STR Team against Mihawk - it is suggested for a Mr. 5 lead instead of Monkey D. Luffy (Gear 2 Lead). This is due to the possibility of pulling a Balloon Luffy from the Strawhat v2 batch which gives a 50% damage reduction for 3 turns. Combined with Alvida and Hammer Usopp, you MIGHT just manage to beat Mihawk.
This one should work without using fruits to revive when used properly
Another Rare Recruit Option:
INT Teams
With their burst combo ready to go with Nico Robin/Chopper/Buggy - this team may just have the fire-power to burst down Mihawk within 2 turns. A high level is preferred with Golden Pound Usopp in case things turn sour.
If you do decide to run other teams asides the ones listed above, consider the following:
- How many hits can I tank from Mihawk? (Including the 2,000 pre-emptive)
- Can I burst him down from approx. 20% health to 0? (If not you'll be hit with 10,000 damage)
- Am I willing to Fruit to revive if need be?
I suggest to test your team in the 0-Stamina Island (so you can see your damage dealt to Hawkeye Mihawk).
Hawkeye Mihawk (40-Stamina Edition)
(100% DROP) XP: 6.600
(100% DROP) XP: 6.600
Health | 1,180,000 |
Attack | 10,000 (1 Turn) |
Abilities | Pre-emptively Deals 4,000 damage (Deals 4,000 damage before you attack) |
When 20% or less Health | Mihawk deals 25,000 damage every turn using his Special when HP drops below 20% Health. |
I'm going to assume most of you are still cowering at the sight of 30-Stamina Mihawk to even consider the 40-Stamina version. But maybe you are willing to place some fruits on the table and want a guaranteed Mihawk. Average Level of 50 is a must. In that case...
Whitebeard
Most rare Unit. Should easily be able to do 40 -Stamina Mihawk, with similar strategy to Gear 3rd Teams, but you have to make sure to keep your HP below 30%.
Smooth Alvida and Usopp are a must. Also make sure to kill the stage before Mihawk in one turn.
( or or even )

Monkey D. Luffy (Gear 3)
One of two teams I will recommend for Hawkeye Mihawk (40-Stam). This is the go-to team for farming Mihawk in JPN and should work in Global (despite lower level and weaker units). I will suggest a team above 14,000 health if you can manage it, so you can tank at least 1 hit.
Vivi Teams (Laboon ONLY , not Zoro)
Again... Vivi will be in high-demand during Mihawk's appearance. Only Laboon will work on 40-Stamina Mihawk and the battle will take twice as long as the 30-Stamina Version.
If you plan on running other teams I suggest you consider the former 3-points in the 30-Stamina edition
- How many hits can I tank from Mihawk? (Including the 4,000 pre-emptive)
- Can I burst him down from approx. 20% health to 0? (If not... 25,000 damage is almost Insta-Kill)
- Am I willing to Fruit?
As with the former, I suggest to test your team in the 0-Stamina island to get your damage numbers and health bars.
You may try this high risk Team at 40 also. but maxed Merry- Go Ship
STR Team with def/delay
This one should work without using fruits to revive when used properly (Lv10 Merry is a must)
Blamenco also an option
I hope you know what to prepare and how to prepare for the upcoming Mihawk Trial! Best of Luck!!
